When I first arrived in Saskatchewan in 1976, I thought the boreal forest of northern Saskatchewan was beautiful but never truly appreciated just how beautiful until I began taking photographs a few years ago. 

Photography completely changed how I saw the world around me. My love of colours, patterns and texture fit well with nature photography since all of these things are abundant in nature.

I have learned to slow my pace and take-in all that surrounds me- then I see the surprises that await!
